Don’t Waste Your Life
“Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”
Life is a gift. In fact, it’s the most valuable gift you’ve ever been given. Each of us is allotted a certain amount of time on earth, yet none us really know how much time we have. This “vapor” we call life could end in 20 years, 20 days, or 20 minutes.
To some, that may sound morbid. If our lives are little more than a blip on the radar of eternity, then what’s the point? Does our existence even matter? Scripture answers this question with a resounding “yes!” Your life may be brief, but it is a priceless gift from God given for a very specific purpose.
Below is a sermon I shared on August 22 in Dallas, TX. This message is based on Christ’s parable in Luke 12:15-21 and answers the question, “How can we avoid the tragedy of a wasted life?” I hope you’ll be blessed as you listen.
